Linlishlin is a kingdom of amazingly fertile farmland, lying to the south-west of Maugeter. There are no major population centres, but the King and his various nobles rule from castles dotted around the area. Linlishlin maintains an overly large military in fear of aggression from the Domain, its northwestern neighbour.
A tiny village nestled in the peaceful Ohril forest to the west of Maugeter, Duroc is home to a small tribe of barbarians who broke away from the more extensive Barl tribes to the north.
A small but geographically important river town, Morad lies at the point where the river Taris flowing down out of Maugeter reaches the point nearest to Linlishlin, where cargo is loaded and unloaded for transit between the city and the kingdom.
The northernmost town before the civilised west reaches the badlands, Nastle grew up around the trade between Maugeter and Jarkod, and has waned in size as that trade has died down.
Home to the Barl Plains Tribes of barbarians, wandering herds and terrible predators, the Barl Plains are a fertile if dangerous area which must be traversed to reach Jarkod and Nastle.
A hundred years ago, the city of Kadah stood between Maugeter and Kanzier. The war between those states was fought in and around Kadah, and by the end of the conflict the settlement had been reduced to ruins. Refugees fled to the neighbouring states, and the city was left to rot.
