Henchmen
Maugeter - The Keys to the City includes four detailed henchmen who can join you in your travels. The henchmen level up with you, and have personal plots that develop along with the module plot rather than only in relation to your level.
Because of Maugeter's low-combat nature, you shouldn't worry unduly about matching the class of the henchman to your own. For example, normally it would be suicidal for an arcane spellcaster to have another arcane spellcaster as a henchman, but in Maugeter it works as long as you don't intentionally get yourself into deadly situations. Just work with the henchman you like the most, and you can't go wrong.

Sara Benedar
Sara is a sorceress, travelling to Maugeter in order to join the School of Wizardry. She is physically weak, but very fast (her career as a professional athelete being cut short by her manifestation of sorcerous powers) . When she runs out of offensive spells, she prefers to use the enchanted throwing knives she inherited from her Kanziery uncle. Sara has a very short attention span, and a habit of excessive physical illustration of whatever she is saying.
Catherey
Catherey is a rogue, working as a private detective in the city's second district. He keeps his old rapier and crossbow around for when things get difficult. Recently he's been down on his luck, and is looking for a way to make enough money to pay his rent. Catherey is soft-spoken and good-natured.
Sacrista
Sacrista is the most powerful sword-for-hire available at Vagya's Henchfolk in the first district of the city. No one there is sure where he came from, or why someone of such obvious talent isn't working for the Mercenaries' Guild. He prefers to wield a massive greatsword, but also carries a heavy crossbow for when it is necessary. Sacrista has very little to say on any subject.
Nalani Sherrinen
Nalani is the prominent acolyte in the mysterious Cult of the Eternal Flame. Little is known about the cult, and less about her. Her faith lends her the healing abilities of a cleric.
