Magic in Maugeter
Theory of magic as dictated by the Maugeter School of Wizardry accepts the standard eight schools of magic - evocation, conjuration, illusion, enchantment, transmutation, abjuration, divination and necromancy.
Conjuration magic in the world of Maugeter is primarily concerned with Inner Planar energy from the various elemental, para-elemental and quasi-elemental planes, as well as the two energy planes. The most powerful conjuration spells summon or call powerful elementals or elemental outsiders (such as Genies).
By constrast, the summoning magic practiced by the druids of the Emberwild Forest focuses exclusively on creatures native to the area, and does not involve magical creatures of any sort.
